A 51-year-old government school teacher was arrested for allegedly molesting a minor girl in Manesar here.
Ram Chander, a junior basic training teacher, allegedly touched a nine-year-old student inappropriately when she went to play in the school ground on Wednesday evening. The teacher stays on the school premises. The matter came to light when the girl told her mother about the incident. The mother lodged a formal complaint with the police on Thursday
“A FIR was registered based on a complaint by the victim’s mother under relevant Sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and the accused was arrested,” said IMT Manesar police station Inspector Narender Kumar.
