A seven-year-old boy was murdered in Ryan Internationl School in Bhondsi, Gurugram, on September 8.

Hearing a case pertaining to the murder of a seven-year-old boy inside the premises of Ryan International School in Bhondsi, the Juvenile Justice Board on Friday reserved its order on a bunch of applications moved by the CBI, the juvenile’s counsel and the victim’s father, for December 13.

The court heard arguments on a total of five applications moved by the three parties to the case. While the CBI had moved an application last month seeking fingerprints of the juvenile, the victim’s father had on November 15 moved an application before the court seeking the trial of the juvenile as an adult.

Though the juvenile's counsels did not press for their application moved last month accusing the CBI of flouting the directions of the JJ Board to interview him between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., they moved two fresh applications on Friday.

One of the applications seeks deferment of proceedings related to declaring the juvenile as an adult till the time the CBI filed the charge sheet in the case to understand the circumstances under which the crime was committed.

Authenticity of experts

In another application, the defence has demanded access to the Social Investigation Report and the Psychological Report on the ground that they are not aware of the authenticity of the experts who have prepared the reports.

The defence counsels said that they should be provided the reports and also an opportunity for rebuttal.

The psychology report was submitted to the board on Tuesday and the social investigation report over a week ago.

Sushil Tekriwal, counsel of the victim’s father, said that the decision regarding his client's application to seek trial of the juvenile as an adult would be pronounced at a later stage after the other three applications were disposed off.
