Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced a financial aid of Rs.1 crore for the family of a Central Reserve Police Force jawan, who was killed in a Maoist attack in Bihar.

Attending the cremation of Narottam Das in Najafgarh, Mr. Kejriwal assured the family all the support. His deputy Manish Sisodia was also present.

Das died in a landmine blast in Bihar’s Gaya district on February 24. Alleged Maoists triggered an IED device when a minibus carrying CRPF personnel was passing over it. The CRPF had announced that families of the slain personnel will receive around Rs.80 lakh each.
