Raj Bala shows no signs of improvement

51-year-old Raj Bala, who was injured in the police action against yoga guru Ramdev and his supporters at Ramlila Maidan, has shown no signs of improvement, doctors attending on her said here today.

“She has not shown any signs of improvement. She is still very critical,” a doctor with the Neurosurgery Department of the G B Pant Hospital said.

“Her vital parameters are being maintained with increased pharmacological support. There is no major fluctuation in her blood pressure and heart rate,” the doctor said.

Doctors had carried out a life saving tracheotomy procedure on June 13 on Ms. Raj Bala. Prior to it she had undergone a surgery on June 5 for cervical spinal injuries.
