An active western disturbance with peak activity on Tuesday is likely to bring rainfall in the Capital.
The Meteorological Department has forecast a spell of light rain/ thundershower on Tuesday evening. Dense fog has been forecast thereafter over Delhi and the National Capital Region in the morning on Wednesday and Thursday.
The rain is likely to cause a raise in minimum temperatures and a fall in maximum temperature. The minimum on Monday was recorded at 5.9 degrees Celsius, which is expected to rise to 9 degrees Celsius. The minimum is likely to fall from 25.2 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius.
The maximum on Sunday was four degrees above normal for this time of the year.
