Radiation victims serious

The condition of all the seven persons exposed to radioactive material at a scrap market in Mayapuri continues to remain serious with no major change in their condition, said Delhi Health Minister Kiran Walia on Wednesday.

“We are in touch with the doctors and they have told us that the patients are still critical with their platelet count being very low. A constant watch is being maintained on their condition,'' said Dr. Walia.

Deepak Jain, who has been admitted to Indraprashtha Apollo Hospital, is still very critical.
