Pleasant showers cool Delhi

The light pleasant showers on Sunday afternoon made the day enjoyable in Delhi which received nearly two mm of rainfall due to easterly winds. “The easterly winds blowing over Delhi has caused this light rains. The city received 1.7 mm of rainfall,” an official of Meteorological department said.

The winds are laden with moisture and consequently, there have been traces of rainfall, he said, adding that more rains are likely in the coming days. Maximum temperature was recorded at 29.4 degree Celsius and minimum was at 25 degree. The maximum humidity level recorded was 86 per cent while minimum was at 56 per cent, he said.
