Residents of Trilokpuri, which saw communal riots in October 2014, were treated to plays and puppet shows by the local election office on Friday.

District Election Officer Kunal said the activities under the SVEEP initiative had a special message of communal harmony for Trilokpuri. Theatre group ASMITA performed a play on ethical voting and the students of Sri Ram College of Commerce presented a puppet show on voting.

The DEO said after discussions with members of the Aman Committee it was decided to hold SVEEP activities in different blocks to promote responsible voting.
