'Operation Blue Star files should be made public’

Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Sunday demanded the files related to attack on Sri Darbar Sahib during the Operation Blue Star be made public.

After distributing grants to panchayats during sangat darshan programme at Buladhewala and Burj Mehma villages, the Union Food Processing Minister said the files related to the events and direction issued which led to tanks and cannons being used in precincts of the Sikh holy place be made public so that people know the truth behind this episode.

She said the “roles of Congress leaders Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar be re-investigated” in the entire episode on the basis of “facts that were concealed”.-PTI
