Odisha cops sensitised on wildlife crimes

: State-level training-cum-workshop on “Strengthening Wildlife Law Enforcement and Conservation” was held at the State police headquarters here on Thursday. Police officers from various districts attended the workshop, which was organised by the State crime branch police and New Delhi-based Traffic India that monitors and investigates wildlife trade.

Inaugurating the one-day workshop, Odisha DGP Sanjiv Marik said the aim of the workshop was to sensitise the State police about wildlife laws in the country and how to investigate and prosecute wildlife crimes
