The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has asked business-owners in Khan Market to submit certificates to prove the structural safety of their buildings.
The move comes after two cave-in incidents in Connaught Place earlier this month. The Connaught Place traders have until the end of February to to submit the certificates, an NDMC official said.

On Wednesday, the official said that the NDMC had sent notices to 222 establishments in Khan Market, asking them to submit the certificates by March 6.
