Property dealer Rajesh Jolly, who is accused of killing his business partner Ajay Khurana’s wife and younger son on Tuesday, is still battling for life at Kailash Hospital in Sector 27 here.

Hospital authorities said noone from Mr. Jolly’s family has come to visit him since he was admitted. “Doctors have many questions related to his health, which have not been addressed as nobody from his family has visited him,” said V.B. Joshi, a spokesperson of the hospital, adding that hospital had been trying to contact his family.

Sequence of events

According to the police, Mr. Jolly (50) had barged into Mr. Khurana’s house on Tuesday night. He first attacked domestic help Rajinder (28) with a knife. He then opened fire at Ankush (33). When Mr. Khurana’s wife Anju (56) raised alarm for help, she too was attacked.

Multiple injuries

Mr. Jolly then spotted Mr. Khurana and fired at him, who managed to escape. His elder son Amit (38) then caught Mr. Jolly. The father-son duo tried to overpower Mr. Jolly but he stabbed them with a knife, inflicting multiple injuries. Mr. Ajay Khurana, Mr. Jolly, Mr. Amit Khurana and the domestic help were rushed to Kailash Hospital. Mr. Ajay Khurana and his elder son were discharged, but Rajinder and Mr. Jolly are still critical.

Noida SP Dinesh Yadav said they had not recorded the statements of the Khuranas.
