The National Green Tribunal has issued notices to the Uttar Pradesh government and its authorities asking them to file their response to a UKG student’s plea.

The boy, Arjun Malik, had moved the court to highlight the menace of housefly. His plea said that a poultry farm running adjacent to his school was discharging it's waste outside the farm resulting in house flies in the area and that a few students had health issues as a result. The student has also stated that due to the house fly menace, students of two near by school are facing health hazard issues.
