Naidu meets Najeeb Jung

From seeking increased water supply through the Munak Canal and construction of more night shelters for the homeless, Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday discussed various issues pertaining to Delhi with Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung.

According to a Urban Development Ministry official, Mr. Naidu discussed several issues including regularisation of unauthorised colonies, allocation of houses built under JNNURM, preparation of standardised maps up to 200 sq m to enable online processing for approval and implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission with Mr. Jung.

Mr. Jung said that allocation of dwelling units built for the weaker sections and poor under JNNURM will commence and will be completed by February next year.
