A 20-year-old youth hailing from Nagaland was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence at Munirka in South Delhi on Monday morning.

According to police, the victim, identified as Mariwibo, prima facie appeared to have died due to breathlessness. He was pursuing a course in Delhi University through correspondence. “The incident came to light on Monday morning when Mariwibo’s room mate woke up and found him lying unconscious in his room. He tried to wake him up but he did not respond. His roommate then made a call to the police and Mariwibo was rushed to Safdarjung hospital where he was declared brought dead,” said a police officer.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the victim was suffering from a breathing disorder and had also complained of the same before going to bed on Sunday night. They ruled out any foul play. “It appears to be a case of natural death but a clear picture would emerge only after the post-mortem,” the officer added.
