Muslim Personal Law Board’s convention from March 21

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) will hold its 24th convention at Jamia-tul-Hidaya in Jaipur on March 21 and 22 to deliberate, among other issues, on the protection of Muslim personal law and the cases pertaining to family laws pending in the Supreme Court and various High Courts.

The AIMPLB, considered to be the supreme body of the Muslim community in the country, will also chalk out a plan of action for future at the two-day convention after considering the reports of its committees formed on different subjects.

An AIMPLB release said here on Monday that the Jamia-tul-Hidaya Rector, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahim Mujaddidi, would head the steering committee which would look after holding of convention in three sessions during the two days.
