A boy on his way to school was allegedly waylaid and sexually assaulted by four juveniles, who also slashed him with a blade, in north-west Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy on Monday.
Three of the juveniles have been apprehended, while the fourth is on the run.
Victim thrashed
The boy is out of danger but has sustained several injuries as he was kicked and beaten as well, said the police.
The victim lives in Mukundpur with his family and is a student of Class IX.
On Monday, the boy was allegedly taken to an empty house and sodomised. When he resisted, his attackers thrashed him. After the assault, the 15-year-old victim purportedly threatened to complain against them. In a bid to deter him, the juveniles allegedly slashed him with a blade.
After the juveniles left, some passersby spotted the boy bleeding and screaming in pain. They rushed him to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital.
The police were informed about the incident and the boy’s family was informed about the assault through the police.
Medical examination has confirmed sexual assault.
