In a minor rejig of his Cabinet, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia the Tourism Department portfolio, divesting him of Revenue.

As per a notification of the General Administration Department on Thursday, Mr. Sisodia has been allocated the Tourism, Art, Culture and Languages departments, which had been given to Rajendra Pal Gautam when he was inducted into the Cabinet in May. Mr. Gautam has been given the charge of Registrar Cooperative Societies, which was with Mr. Sisodia.

What stays

Mr. Gautam will continue to hold the Water, SC/ST, Social Welfare and Gurdwara Elections portfolios in addition.

The Revenue Department portfolio was given to Kailash Gahlot, who also holds the Law, Transport, Administrative Reforms and Information Technology departments.

Mr. Sisodia still holds the most number of portfolios. According to sources in the government, he will now focus on boosting tourism in Delhi.

The portfolios of Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain and Satyendar Jain remain unchanged.
