The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will carry out track maintenance work between Sultanpur and Guru Dronacharya metro stations on Line 2 (Jehangirpuri – HUDA City Centre) on Sunday, from 10-30 a.m. to 3-30 p.m.

Owing to the work, metro train services on Line 2 will be rescheduled for the duration. “Between Jehangirpuri to Sultanpur metro stations, train services will be available at a frequency of 3 minutes 40 seconds as per the Sunday schedule. And between Sultanpur and Guru Dronacharya metro stations, train services will be available at a frequency of 24 minutes,” said a DMRC spokesperson.

Train services between Guru Dronacharya and HUDA City Centre metro stations will be available at a frequency of 10 minutes.

“During this period, passengers going towards either side i.e. Jehangirpuri or HUDA City Centre will have to get down at Sultanpur and Guru Dronacharya metro stations respectively and board the connecting trains going towards Jehanngirpuri or HUDA City Centre. Necessary announcements will be made at all stations of this line for passenger information,” the spokesperson said.

The DMRC is also planning to run feeder bus services between Sultanpur and HUDA City Centre metro stations to maintain smooth movement of passengers in this section for the duration of the maintenance work.

“Train services on Line 2 will run as per normal schedule except for the duration of the maintenance work while it also be normal on all other lines as well,” the spokesperson said.
