The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested a man for allegedly killing two persons earlier this week.

Aman Kharkadi was nabbed when he was on his way to commit a murder, said the police.

On Monday, Kharkadi had allegedly killed one Vikas in south-west Delhi’s Dwarka.

The next day, he allegedly shot dead one Pradeep and injured his brother Pawan in Kanjhawala after their bike brushed against his vehicle.

Note left behind

The police said Kharkadi had left behind a note in the Dwarka case, which mentioned that he and his gang intended to kill people who committed “crime against the society”.

The gang is allegedly headed by Rakesh Bharti, a wanted criminal from Haryana.

The other members of the gang are Devender Kharkadi, Sanjeet Bidroh, Umesh Kaakrola, Mahesh Ismail and Shekhar.

‘Inspired by films’

“The gang has killed several people due to personal enmity, but the recent two killings were not the result of a gang war,” said a senior police officer, adding that they had launched a hunt for the remaining members.

The officer said Kharkadi used to get inspired by gangster films and wanted a movie to be based on his life.
