01.10 p.m.: With that, the oath-taking ceremony comes to a close. Arvind Kejriwal and six Ministers have now been sworn in, in front of thousands gathered at Ramlila Maidan.

01.05 p.m.: Arvind Kejriwal warns the Ramlila Maidan crowd that he's not a good singer, and that he has a bad throat before singing a song. He ends his speech with shouts of ' Bharat Mata ki Jai ', ' Inquilab Zindabad ' and ' Vande Mataram '.
01.00 p.m.: Arvind Kejriwal says AAP workers are gems, they have left jobs, businesses to work for a better Delhi. He also wishes the Indian cricket team luck for the World Cup.
01.00 p.m.: "It is not I who has become the Chief Minister of Delhi, but each citizen of Delhi who has become its Chief Minister," he says.
01.00 p.m.: "Kiran Bedi is like my older sister. We will take help from her too. Ajay Maken has a long experience as a lawmaker. We will take his guidance too," says Arvind Kejriwal.

01.00 p.m.: "There is no dearth of money in a government, only a lack of intention," says Mr. Kejriwal. "We want to end VIP culture in Delhi, as nobody likes it when a road is blocked just for a Minister to cross. Of course we will ned the cars. We will just get rid of the lal batti. "
12.55 p.m.: Mr. Kejriwal assures businessmen that he will not make them pay any unfair dues, and will make sure they are not harassed by officials, only requests that they pay their taxes.
12.55 p.m.: Arvind Kejriwal says he told Mr. Modi to leave the responsibility of running Delhi to Delhiites.
12.50 p.m.: "I met the Prime Minister and told him that we want constructive cooperation with the Centre," says Mr. Kejriwal. "For a long time, the BJP has been promising statehood for Delhi, but they haven't been able to get the chance. I have told the Prime Minister that this is the best time and opportunity to do so. We see the 3 BJP MLAs as our MLAs. We will work for the entire city."
12.50 p.m.: The Chief Minister hits out against church attacks in Delhi in the past few months. "Delhi will not tolerate this," he says. "Even though the Delhi Police don't fall under my jurisdiction, we will work to ensure security for all religions."
12.50 p.m.: Mr. Kejriwal says he and his Ministers will work 24 hours a day if required, but asks the media to refrain from asking him for a timeline within which he will complete the work he promises to accomplish.
12.45 p.m.: The anti-corruption line is back this time too as the Chief Minister once again tells Delhiites to record anyone asking for a bribe, and promises to restart the anti-corruption phone line.
12.45 p.m.: "Last time, we had romanticism, but this time, we are confident that we can remove corruption from Delhi in five years," says Mr. Kejriwal. He tells officials, police not to spare anyone wearing an AAP cap if they misbehave.

12.40 p.m.: Mr. Kejriwal cautions his Ministers, MLAs and their families not to fall prey to arrogance. "Delhi's people have given us their love and trust," he says. "AAP became arrogant and fought Lok Sabha elections from other States and was taught a lesson. I'm staying in Delhi for 5 years to work for the city," says Mr. Kejriwal.
12.40 p.m.: "People from everywhere, all religions, castes, rich and poor, voted for us," says Delhi's newest Chief Minister.
12.35 p.m.: Arvind Kejriwal thanks the crowd at Ramlila Maidan, and says Delhi has got a government of "aam aadmi."
12.35 p.m.: The swearing-in ceremony concludes and the national anthem is played. The crowd erupts into shouts and chants of ' Bharat Mata ki Jai ' and ' Inquilab Zindabad '.
12.30 p.m.: Tri Nagar MLA Jitender Singh Tomar, whom the BJP alleged had fake educational certificates, takes his oath of office.
12.30 p.m.: Gopal Rai, a member of the Political Affairs Committee of the Aam Aadmi Party, who won the Babarpur seat is the next person to be sworn in. He is a former AISA leader from Lucknow.
12.25 p.m.: Satyendra Jain, the winner from Shakur Basti is sworn in as a Cabinet Minister. He is a former CPWD employee and quit his job to fight corruption.
12.25 p.m.: Sandeep Kumar, the AAP candidate who won from Sultanpur with the highest margin, is up next as he is administered the oath of office by Lt. Gov. Jung. He beat BJP's Prabhu Dayal by 64,439 votes.
12.20 p.m.: Next is Manish Sisodia, a senior AAP leader. He takes the oath of office as a Cabinet Minister. Matia Mahal MLA Asim Ahmed Khan, the only minority face in the Council of Ministers, takes the oath of office.
12.20 p.m.: Arvind Kejriwal has been sworn in.
12.15 p.m.: Arvind Kejriwal takes oath as Delhi's Chief Minister, administered by Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. He will be the eighth Chief Minister. Huge cheers go up the moment Mr. Kejriwal begins speaking.
12.15 p.m.: Chief Secretary D.M. Spolia kicks off Arvind Kejriwal and his Cabinet's swearing-in ceremony. Mr. Spolia announces that the President appoints Arvind Kejriwal as Delhi Chief Minister.
12.10 p.m.: The national anthem plays at Ramlila Maidan as the swearing-in ceremony begins.
