L-G felicitates women entrepreneurs

Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung inaugurated the Delhi Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF), which focuses on the role of women entrepreneurs in the city.

He took a round of the stalls that showcased aspects of Delhi that included tourism, works produced by inmates of Tihar, Delhi-based fashion designers, khadi, handicraft stalls by various departments of the Delhi government and other businesses.

In an effort to encourage women, Mr. Jung felicitated some of the leading women entrepreneurs of the city. They included face of Dastakar, Laila Tyabji, Chef, author and TV show host Ritu Dalmia, fashion designer Ritu Berry, social activist Kiran Chopra, marathon runner Sunita Godara, fashion designer Rina Dhaka, business women Sneh Gangal, Anju Singh and Saheen Anjum.
