The Delhi Police on Thursday claimed to have busted an illegal organ transplant racket in the Capital with the arrest of two men. They also detained least six other persons for questioning.

The name of a private hospital in Southeast Delhi also cropped up during the investigation and the police are likely to question its doctors.

“The accused were involved in the buying and selling of kidneys. We are questioning them as we suspect there could be many others involved in the racket," said a senior police officer.

Further investigation is under way.
