Information continued to pour in through the day on Tuesday about the efforts being made for a rapprochement between Aam Aadmi Party’s convener Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav. However, the demeanour of the Chief Minister, Mr. Yadav and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia inside the court room seemed that neither side was ready to bury the hatchet.
They were together in the court for about half-an-hour on summons in a criminal defamation case.
The Chief Minister and his deputy entered the court room together, while Mr. Yadav came in alone.
Initially, Mr. Yadav sat alone three or four chairs away from Mr. Kejriwal and Mr. Sisodia, who were sitting together in the first row. However, after being prodded by somebody, he rose from his seat and shook hands with Mr. Kejriwal and Mr. Sisodia before settling on a chair next to the Chief Minister. He also asked Mr. Kejriwal about his health.
After that there was no talk between the three leaders when they were in the court room. Mr. Yadav looked tired and at times snoozed to pass the time, while the Chief Minister and his deputy smiled at each other when Mr. Sisodia confided something to the CM in his ears.
