Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his family on Tuesday moved out of the Tilak Lane government accommodation and moved back to his old house at Kaushambi in Ghaziabad.

In mid-February, Mr. Kejriwal resigned his post as Chief Minister yet he had decided not to vacate the flat as his daughter was appearing for her Board examinations. He had informed authorities that he will remain at Tilak Lane till July end and pay rent at market prices.

The flat at Girnar Apartment in Kaushambi had been allotted to his wife Sunita, who is a senior Indian Revenue Service Officer. Party sources said the flat was more convenient for his family, especially his parents, as they had been staying there for a long time and knew the people around.
