Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday felicitated a group of National Cadet Corps (NCC) who represented the Capital in various competitions across the country and won prizes.

Addressing the cadets at a ceremony held at the Delhi Secretariat, Mr. Kejriwal said he was proud of their achievements.

Gender inequality

“I look up to NCC for working towards a free and secular India beyond the barriers of caste, religion and gender...I advise you to reject status quo and demand a better future. You must work hard and educate yourself. I appeal to you all to read a lot and form your own opinions,” he said.

He added: “This world is full of inequalities for women and girls. You have to fight the social evil of gender inequality.”
