Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung on Monday visited Dwarka to see the Delhi Jal Board’s (DJB) interceptor sewer project and water ATMs being installed.
He was accompanied by the DJB CEO and engineers, as well as the Public Works Department Secretary. The DJB’s interceptor is expected to improve water quality through its 59 km sewer system along the Najafgarh, Supplementary and Shahdara drains. The project will intercept sewage flowing through 190 subsidiary small drains and take it to the nearest sewage treatment plant.
