Judicial officers hail Court order

The Haryana Judicial Officers' Association has welcomed the implementation of Justice Padmanabhan's report by the Supreme Court here on Tuesday.

With the order, it said, there would be a substantial increase in the monthly salary of judges which was long awaited as the Sixth Pay Commission Report had benefited all State Government employees but not the judicial officers of the States. Hence the order was a benevolent gift to judiciary of the country.

Additional Sessions Judge Kurukshetra and president of the Association Neelima Shangla had appeared as petitioner-in-person and argued the matter.
