Rajya Sabha MP D.P. Tripathi on Friday wrote to HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar urging him to look into the allegations made against Prof. Atul Johri, who has been accused of sexual harassment

“Eight FIRs have been filed by the women against their supervisor but no action has been taken by the administration. The professor in question was promptly bailed out and still remains the supervisor of the fearful female complainants. I request you to look into the matter...The sanctity and spirit of the university should remain,” said Mr. Tripathi, who was also the JNUSU president during the Emergency.
