The Jaypee Group on Saturday met with home buyers and shared details about its completion schedule for the long-delayed flats.

The firm had promised 35,000 flats in Wish Town and Jaypee Aman, but the projects have been delayed by up to seven years. Most of the buyers had booked flats in 2007-08 onwards and had been promised delivery of flats by 2011-12.

December 2018 target

Out of the 291 towers in Wish Town project, 59 towers (5,283 units) have been handed over in phase I.

The planned completion schedule released on Saturday is for phase II (70 towers — 6,572 units) of the project. “We have shared details of customer care representatives along with respective project-in-charges. For any query, home buyers can contact them,” a senior official of the Jayee Group said.

Most of the dates for the completion of the phase II towers are between July 2017 and December 2018.

The planned completion schedule for Phase III (94 towers) will be released by May 15, 2017, while completion schedule for the remaining 68 towers will be released by July 1, 2017.

The group has decided to share monthly progress update for towers on the website from July 2017 onwards.

On April 15, an FIR was lodged against the realty major by aggrieved home buyers on charges of cheating, financial fraud and criminal conspiracy as it had failed to deliver flats on time.

Jaypee group management on April 17 had met with hundreds of their home buyers to settle the issues. Large scale protests have been taking place against the group for delay in projects.
