Injured peacock rescued

Wildlife SOS has rescued an injured peacock from the official residence of Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawarchand Gehlot. . Security personnel found the bird in the garden and were concerned after noticing a severe gash on its right wing.

Gourav Singh, a staff member at Mr. Gehlot’s residence, said: “The peacock was struggling to move. I contacted Wildlife SOS on its 24-hour rescue helpline — 9871963535 Their team arrived quickly and rescued the bird.”
