Home buyers, under the banner of DXP Welfare Association, organised a meeting with its members to discuss the status of the Dwarka Expressway on Saturday, and wrote a letter to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for completion of the project at the earliest.

“The major demand of the association is time-bound completion of the Dwarka Expressway, which has been delayed by more than eight years now,” read a statement by the body.

The letter sent to the NHAI read: “The progress on this project is far from satisfactory and actual ground work for the road on some areas has not even taken off till date.”

Many issues unresolved

Gaurav Prakash, a member of the association said: “Critical bottlenecks have only increased with time. Litigation issues pertaining to land acquisition for CPR and in New Palam Vihar have not been resolved. We hope that things turn up positively for us soon.”
