The hearing on the bail application of Utsav Sharma, who assaulted murdered teenager Aarushi’s father Rajesh Talwar, was put off till tomorrow by a local court today.

The medical report of Sharma could not be submitted in the court of Additional District and Session Judge Shyam Lal and so the hearing has been postponed for tomorrow, said Sharma’s lawyer S C Chaudhary.

30-year-old Sharma, who has been charged with attempt to murder, is undergoing treatment on jail premises.

Yesterday, his judicial custody was extended by 14 days by the court here.

Sharma had attacked Talwar with a cleaver on January 25 on the court premises. His family claimed that he was mentally disturbed.

In February last year, Sharma had attacked former DGP SPS Rathore, who was convicted in Ruchika Girhotra molestation case, outside a Panchkula court in Haryana.
