Haryana cop suspended

A policeman posted in Faridabad was suspended for allegedly misbehaving with a girl from south Delhi while she was learning how to drive. The girl reported the matter to the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) which raised the matter with the police.

“A 21-year-old girl from south Delhi was learning to drive a car with her friend near Surajkund at Faridabad. They were stopped by two policemen who misbehaved with her. The girl has alleged that the police personnel hit her friend and snatched his wallet,” a DCW official said. An inquiry has been launched against the officer.
