The Gurugram police on Friday issued summons to three trustees of Ryan International School to join the probe into the murder of a seven-year-old student . Their application for anticipatory bail, filed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, was turned down on Wednesday.

Gurugram Police spokesperson said that the summons were issued to the Pintos on Thursday to join the probe in the murder case. “They have been told to come for questioning on September 26,” said the spokesperson.

The trustees — Augustine F. Pinto, Grace Pinto and Ryan Pinto — had filed an application for anticipatory bail in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on September 16 after their bail application was rejected by the Bombay High court on September 14.

Earlier on Tuesday, Justice A.B. Chaudhari of the Punjab and Haryana High court had recused himself from hearing the anticipatory bail application of three trustees. Justice Inderjit Singh heard the bail plea case on September 20.

Following the murder of Class II student of Ryan International School inside a wash-room on its premises, the Gurugram Police had registered a case against the management and its owners under Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act. Besides accused Ashok Kumar, two senior officials of the school management have also been arrested in this connection.
