The Delhi government has sent a notice to the Special Commissioner in Transport Department, who recently accused Minister Satyendar Jain of misbehaving with him and went on a 15-day leave.

The government has asked him to join duty immediately.Following the strike called by the auto-rickshaw and taxi unions in the Capital, a notice was issued to Indushekhar Mishra, a 1993-batch DANICS officer, who had filed a complaint with the Lieutenant-Governor’s Office against Mr. Jain.

According to sources, Mr. Mishra has replied to the notice saying he cannot join duty now as he is unwell and the doctor has advised him to take rest for some days.

Argument

Mr. Mishra had an argument with the Minister at his office in the Delhi Secretariat on Monday over the latter’s plan to keep the RTOs open seven days a week. PTI
