The Ghaziabad police have arrested the sixth person accused of attacking TV journalist Anuj Chowdhary from Kavi Nagar on Wednesday night, the police said on Thursday.
The accused, Bablu, was driving the car in which the assailants managed to flee the spot, they added.
“We had received a tip-off about Bablu stating that he hiding in Kavi Nagar. We formed teams and raided the location. After this, we arrested him,” Vaibhav Krishan, Senior Superintendent Of Police (Ghaziabad), said. Bablu is the younger brother of Shekhar Chaudhary, who had plotted to kill Mr. Chowdhary, the police said, adding that Shekhar is currently in Dasna Jail.
