Gajbhiye’s pleas referred to Division Bench

February 06, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 07:34 am IST - CUTTACK:

A single-member Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal on Friday posted both the original applications of suspended IPS officer Satish Kumar Gajbhiye to be taken up by a Division Bench as per the merits of the applications.

The former Kendrapara SP, who was suspended by the State government in August last year and the same was confirmed by the Union government two months after, had moved the Cuttack Bench of CAT challenging the moves of both the governments.

Judicial member A. K. Patnaik taking up the applications on the day, posted them to be adjudicated by a Division Bench at a later date, informed sources in the Tribunal.
