Former CM takes a jibe at AAP govt

Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday said her government tried to look for solutions when the situation was out of its control as people expected results, not excuses.

In what can be seen as a jibe at the current Aam Aadmi Party dispensation, Ms. Dikshit said in a tweet, “People expect elected governments to deliver results not excuses. There were times when things were beyond our control as an elected govt with limited powers, we still tried to bring solutions on the table. Governments cannot be run on ego [sic].”
