Three foreign nationals became victims of molestation at Saket in South Delhi on Holi. All the eight accused have been arrested and sent to Tihar Central Jail.

According to the police, the incident took place on Monday afternoon when the three victims -- from Germany, South Africa and Columbia -- were travelling in an auto-rickshaw to go to Anupam Movie Hall, after visiting Select City Walk Mall in the area.

At the same time, the accused -- Surjeet, Krishanjeet, Prince, Gurdeep, Jaspal, Vijay Singh, Sunny and Deepu -- who were travelling in a Fortuner car, waylaid them on the pretext of celebrating Holi.

In their complaint to the police, the women, who had come to India together on tourist visas, said the accused molested them on the road despite their resistance.

The accused fled in their vehicle after which the victims, who live in a hotel at Paharganj area in the Capital, raised an alarm. Immediately, a team of policemen arrived and took them to a nearby hospital.

A complaint was registered and the police launched a manhunt for the culprits.

Several raids were carried out and the accused were nabbed by Tuesday evening.

They were said to be in an inebriated state at the time of the incident. Some of them are said to be property dealers and businessmen.

All of them are residents of Malviya Nagar in South Delhi.

They were produced before a Delhi court which sent them to judicial custody.
