Fire at CRPF headquarters

A fire broke out early Sunday morning at the CRPF headquarters in the CGO complex in New Delhi.

The fire was reported around 6.45 a.m. from the ground floor of the four-storeyed building and five fire tenders were rushed.

Fire officials said that the fire engulfed the public relations section of the force and a number of books, documents and other material have been destroyed.

There were no report of casualities and the fire has been controlled, they said.

The CRPF headquarters is a fortified building and is located next to the NIC complex in the Central Government Offices (CGO) complex in Delhi.
