Fasih Mohammed, who is accused by the Delhi Police of having links with the Indian Mujahideen and of involvement in terror strikes in India, on Tuesday sought bail from a court here.

He was deported from Saudi Arabia in October last. In the application filed before the court of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vidya Prakash, Fasih said that since the Special Cell of the Delhi Police had failed to file a charge sheet within 90 days of his arrest (October 22, 2012), he is “entitled to be released on statutory bail.”
