March 19, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 11:33 am IST - BERHAMPUR

: Most peasants in Odisha are not getting proper benefits from agriculture because of lack of proper training for use of scientific techniques in cultivation as well as preservation and processing of harvests, said agricultural experts.

They expressed this view during their interaction with peasants during a two day farmer-scientist interface titled ‘Vaarta-agricultural meet’ organised by Tata Steel, which was inaugurated in Berhampur on Wednesday evening.

During this interaction, 15 agricultural scientists will be sharing the insights on best scientific agricultural practices.
