Eminent cinema personalities share stage with Anna

Prominent personalities from the world of cinema and academics have thrown their weight behind the anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare in the past few days.

Psephologist Yogendra Yadav, National Award winning actor Om Puri and management guru Arindam Chaudhuri met Team Anna at Ramlila Maidan on Friday and addressed his supporters. Retired Defence Secretary Avinash Dharmadhikari also came out in support.

Earlier on Thursday, actor Raghubir Yadav enthralled the gathering with his songs. Singer Manoj Tiwari and actor Raja Bundela have also made appeared on stage in support of Anna Hazare's movement against corruption.

“Some prominent figures, including Bollywood actors, are expected to join us at the Ramlila Maidan on Saturday,” said an India Against Corruption representative.
