EDMC demands ₹9,125 crore from Delhi govt

Leaders of the East Delhi civic body on Monday demanded ₹9,125 crore from the government based on recommendations of the 4th Delhi Finance Commission.

EDMC Mayor Neema Bhagat met Urban Development Minister Satyendar Jain to present a memorandum asking for funds to overcome its ongoing financial crisis. The Delhi BJP said Mr. Jain refused to give funds.
