The Delhi University Students’ Union is organising its annual job fair at the University Sports Complex on Thursday. Students can walk in and interact with potential recruiters and register for other jobs as well. The union has signed up this year with “Shine.com” to conduct the fair.

Sheffield Hallam University, U.K., has extended its deadline for scholarship applications provided especially for Indian students. Application deadlines for two scholarships, Transform Together and GREAT Scholarships, have been extended to July 31.
Under the Transform Together scholarships, students with a good academic record can apply for any of the university’s full-time courses. Scholarship winners for postgraduate courses receive a 100 per cent waiver on tuition fee. And, successful applicants for the undergraduate courses receive a 50 per cent discount for each year of study.
Six GREAT scholarships in the university are being sponsored by the British Council. Under this scholarship, each student will be awarded a scholarship worth 3,750 pounds to study M.Sc. in Sports Business Management.
To apply for a scholarship, students must first apply for a course and then should have received an offer from the university. The application form for the September 2014 scholarships can be downloaded from the university's website www.shu.ac.uk/international/scholarships-bursaries or get them from the regional office in New Delhi.
To deepen education links and build greater understanding of Indian culture among New Zealanders, the New Zealand Government has awarded scholarships to 15 Kiwi students from the New Zealand Institute of Fashion Technology to study at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu.
The five-week programme will consist of four weeks of introduction and exploration of various aspects of yarn, textile and fashion design and manufacturing in Coimbatore and Erode.
