DTC launches safety drive

With the ongoing festive season picking up momentum, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will launch a 14-day drive from Tuesday to focus on “safety and security” of its commuters.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, DTC chairman-cum-managing director Vijay Kumar Dev said: “We will focus on providing safe public transportation for commuters through this initiative. Examining issues related to safety and security of passengers would be the top priority during the drive.”

The DTC has identified 150 locations in Delhi where the focus will be more efficient operations during the festive season.
