A doctor working at the AIIMS was found dead at his hostel room within the hospital premise on Thursday. Initial investigations have revealed that the deceased was a drug addict and had not eaten for the past three days, said the police adding that prima facie an overdose of drugs coupled with starvation is suspected to be the cause of death.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Prem Nath, however, added that the circumstances under which Kumar Kunal (34), a junior resident in Medicine Department, was found dead remained mysterious.
