Delhi school principal’s daughter found dead

A 29-year-old woman, daughter of the principal of a prestigious South Delhi school, was found dead this morning at her father’s official residence inside the school campus.

The deceased, Anjana Saini, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her room by the family members after which police was informed.

Saini worked with a private company and lived with her father Dr. D. R Saini, the principal of Delhi Public School’s R K Puram branch, police said.

Initial investigations indicate that Saini committed suicide by hanging herself. The body was sent to AIIMS for postmortem after forensic team lifted circumstantial evidence from the spot. Further investigations are underway, police said
