The Delhi State unit of the Peace Party of India announced its merger with the AAP on Friday.

Pledging their support for AAP candidates in East and North-East Delhi, nearly 300 workers joined the AAP.

Among those who joined are Delhi Peace Party president Master Sher Mohammad Khan, State general secretary Nazakat Ali, state vice-president Fakruddin Saifi, UP unit general secretary Brij Kishore and Habib Malik from the Delhi State committee.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh said: “Those willing to join the AAP have to provide a declaration that they will adhere to the party agenda and have no criminal or corruption cases pending against them.”
